The short version
- Paid plans are invoiced monthly in advance. Prices include Danish VAT.
- No lock-in. Cancel any time, and your plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for.
- Cancel within 30 days of starting your first paid plan and you get back what you paid for the plan.
- After those 30 days, a month that has started is not refunded.
- When a paid plan ends, your account moves to the Free plan and your content stays.
How to cancel
There is no cancel button in the admin yet, so you tell us and we do it for you:
- Sign in at admin.talelike.com, open Account → Support and send a request saying you want to cancel, or
- write to [email protected] from the email address on your account.
We confirm the cancellation in writing and tell you the date it takes effect.
When cancellation takes effect
Your plan keeps running, with everything included, until the end of the month you have paid for. After that, nothing more is invoiced and your account moves to the Free plan.
30-day money-back guarantee
This is our own promise, on top of your rights under the law.
- Who it covers: your first paid plan with us, Pro or Business. It applies once per customer.
- What you get: a full refund of what you have paid for the plan, if you cancel within 30 days of the day your first paid plan started.
- Domains: if your Business plan came with a domain, the domain registration is not part of the guarantee: the price of its first year is deducted from the refund, and the domain stays registered in your name.
- How to use it: write to [email protected], or send a request under Account → Support, and say you want to use the money-back guarantee. You don’t need to give a reason.
- How the money comes back: to the original payment method.
- Your website: it moves to the Free plan and your content stays. If you would rather close the account completely, tell us.
After the first 30 days
You can still cancel any time, with no lock-in. The plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for, and a month that has started is not refunded.
Your website and content
On the Free plan your website stays online with what Free includes. Tools outside Free, such as the shop and mailboxes, are switched off, but we don’t delete their data, so it is there if you move up again.
You can download your newsletter subscribers and your questionnaire answers as CSV files yourself in the admin. For anything else, ask us at [email protected] and we send you a copy of your content.
If you want the account closed completely, tell us. We then delete your website and its data. Copies in our backups disappear as the backups are replaced, within eight weeks.
Your right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, buying as a private person rather than a business, Danish law gives you 14 days to withdraw from the agreement, counted from the day it was made.
To use it, tell us clearly within the 14 days, for example by writing to [email protected]. You may use the standard EU withdrawal form, but you don’t have to. We pay you back within 14 days of receiving your message, to the original payment method.
If you asked us to start the service within the 14 days, the law lets us keep an amount for the days you used it. For your first paid plan, the 30-day money-back guarantee gives you everything back anyway.
