What personal data Talelike handles, why, who helps us, how long we keep it and what you can ask of us.

Who is responsible
KJ Venture ApS (AI Softwarehus), CVR 45174344, is responsible for the personal data described here. Write to [email protected] with any question about it.
When you use Talelike to run your own website, shop or CRM, you decide what happens to your visitors’ and customers’ data. For that data you are the controller and we process it on your behalf, as described in our data processing agreement.
This website
talelike.com sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising. Like any web server, ours keeps a standard log of each request: IP address, time, page and browser. We use it only to keep the site running and secure.
The contact form sends nothing itself. It opens an email in your own mail program. If you write to us, we use what you write to answer you.
Your Talelike account
When you create and use an account, we keep:
- your name, email, company name and the plan you are on
- your password, only as a scrambled hash we cannot read back
- sign-in sessions and a log of actions in your account, with IP address and browser, for security
- billing details you give us: name, company, CVR number, address and invoice email
- if you buy a domain through us: the owner details the registry needs, such as name, address and phone
- messages you send us, by email or under Account → Support
Paid plans are invoiced, so we never ask for card details.
We use these data to provide the service you signed up for (GDPR article 6(1)(b)), to keep accounts secure and prevent misuse, which is our legitimate interest (article 6(1)(f)), and to keep our accounts as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires (article 6(1)(c)).
AI features
Talelike’s writing assistants and other AI features send the text or images involved to an AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) to produce the result. This only happens when you or someone in your account uses an AI feature. The Free plan has no AI features.
Who helps us
Talelike runs on our own server in Denmark, with the database on the same machine. These companies help us run the service:
- Cloudflare – Network in front of our server: secure connections (HTTPS), DNS for domains and email routing (USA)
- Resend – Sending email from Talelike and from your website, shop and mailings (USA)
- Stripe – Payments (USA)
- OpenAI – AI features: text and image suggestions from the writing assistants (USA)
- Anthropic – AI features: design suggestions for your website (USA)
- Openprovider – Registering a domain, only if you buy one through us (Netherlands)
Several of them are based in the United States, so some data can be processed outside the EU. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep data
- Account data: for as long as you have an account. When an account is closed, we delete it, and backup copies disappear within eight weeks.
- Sign-ups that are never finished: deleted automatically after one to seven days.
- Bookkeeping records: five years, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires.
- Backups: every night, kept for 14 days, plus a weekly copy kept for eight weeks.
- Emails and support messages: for as long as we need them to help you.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to limit how we use it, object to how we use it, or receive it in a format you can take elsewhere. Write to [email protected].
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk.
Changes to this notice
When we change this notice, we update the date at the top. Changes that matter for you, we also tell account owners about by email.
